Love freaky, unconventional relationships between humans and their favourite barely comprehendable mass of flesh.
I prefer more serious books, instead of romantic comedies. Can have fun moments I’ve just never been a romcom type of person.
Does NOT need to be sexual in nature. You can be weirdos together without going below the belt!
100% has to be a monster that’s ACTUALLY monstrous. No nagas, centaurs, mostly human anatomy just has a couple extra eyes here and there. Bonus points if their language is either non-existent or just really weird and the characters mostly communicate through signals, body language and broken translations.
Basically, make that monster as weird and non-human as possible. Obviously without it just being… a regular ol’ animal. With no sapience or ability to communicate/consent. Cause then it stops being interesting and fun pretty much immediately for me.
