I’ve been really getting into Farley Mowat’s stories of Canada’s wilderness. I also really enjoyed the works of Richmond P Hobson and his cowboy stories

I just really like these outdoor tales set in North America, Mowat’s books are very special to me and I really enjoyed Hobson too. Are there any other works like that, about frontier life, animals, nature and conservation written in the same vein.
