Hello!! I hope you guys are doing well! I'm currently looking for a fiction novel (preferably fantasy + maybe some romance) with the protagonist feeling intense guilt, shame and regret over a past action or who they used to be, and explores all the mental and physical tolls this takes. And yet, at the end, they still find people who love them and accept their faults. Doesn't have to exactly be like this, could be any genre!
