I realize its annoying to ask this but maybe those that have read books and are anticipating the movie adaptation can suggest a good read. I have been working through Dune after having seen the movie and I just read Project Hail Mary and thoroughly enjoyed both the book and the movie. In the past Ive read some of Michael Crichton's work including Jurassic Park and The Lost World and loved them as well. About to start Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C Clarke as I heard Denis Villenueve might direct the movie adaptation.
What do people suggest for books in the sci-fi or mystery/thriller genre that they are anticipating the movie adaptation for?

I would like to see the Salvation Sequence series by Peter F Hamilton, out of everything he’s done this is one I’d like to see on the screen.
Also Revelation Space by Alaistair Reynolds but that would probably have to be a series or back to back movies like Dune
