I just finished "The Strange Case of Starship Iris". Binged this over three days. A biologist, a smuggler, a spy, and an AI all stuck on a ship together trying not to get caught. There are stakes and danger but the heart of it is just people learning to trust each other while making dumb jokes. Ended up laughing and crying in equal measure. Now everything else I try is either too grim or too goofy. I want that balance again where the universe is big and scary but the characters are warm and funny and actually like each other.
Does anyone know another audio drama with that same mix of tension, heart, and crew dynamics that feel real instead of written?
