Last week there was a post about what critera should be used for a must-read book list. I commented that if I wrote one, it would be based more on feelings I think you should experience as a reader than on titles or authors.
So I’m curious, what moments or feelings do you think everyone should experience during a lifetime of reading? What feelings should a book incite or inspire?
For starters I don’t think you can call yourself a reader if you haven’t experienced the same emotions as [Bradley Cooper did about A Farewell to Arms in Silver Linings Playbook.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vyq3eN0DUU0) Every well-read person has read a book that has made them incensed to the point of wanting to rant or confront the author at their home/grave.
