I’m trying to get back into reading after a slump and I NEED something that grabs me immediately — ideally from the first page or chapter. No slow builds at all. It has to be:
• Super fast-paced
• Addicting / impossible to put down
• Leaves me thinking about it when I’m not reading
• Strong opening that demands I keep going
Important requirements:
• Must be on Kindle Unlimited (I have a basic Kindle, so easy-to-read formatting and engaging prose is key)
• NO horror (or anything too scary/gory)
• Open to romance, mystery, thriller, fantasy, YA, romantasy, sci-fi, etc.
I also listen to audiobooks, so if the book (or a good narration) is on YouTube, that’s a bonus — but KU is the priority.
