My kids have recently gotten into chapter books with pictures. They are enjoying Dragon Masters, Unicorn Diaries, Princess in Black, and Kitty. Looking for other series to introduce to them to. I prefer them without any violence at all (because the 3-year old doesn't quite understand the difference between pretend and real, and we are working on less aggressive play); even the Princess in Black I find is not my favourite. The Unicorn Diaries we've only started but they seem to be all about helping others so would like recommendations similar to that, which will encourage kindness, etc. Popular series is nice because then I can find at the library easily! Murray and Bun is a great series that is fun and magical and silly!
Good Dog is as gentle as they come (somewhat boring IMO but my kids like them!)
