So I am fiction reader and generally don’t pick books with colourful covers that give beach vibes. I don’t know the reason, I just don’t. However, a friend of mine urged me to read this book Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. Honestly, I would not have picked that book in this lifetime by myself, but when I read it, I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. It was such an amazing read that it makes me wonder what else am I missing out on.
Do you have such a book?

At the top my head I remember 2:
I who have never known men by Harpman- suggested to me by a friend in college. I wouldn’t have considered it if not for her constant nagging (which, in retrospect, I do appreciate)
M-0 by Tanasa- a book I stumbled upon by accident (typo in Amazon search bar), and definitely wouldn’t have picked it up. Dystopian fiction at its best (battled a huge reading slump then and, fortunately, it got me out of it. Funny how things work, ha? The right book at the right time).
