Hi ,I'm a 20 year old dude who has read in past some books but I wanna start reading now as a hobby so can you suggest some really great books for a beginner

I personally got into reading Steve Cavanaghs “Eddie Flynn” series, it’s fast paced legal thrillers. The Martian, Project Hail Mary are amazing funny Sci-Fi. Red Rising is a really cool Fantasy/Sci-Fi series. I also love Stephen King but he can be a bit of a slog to get through sometimes, I’d personally recommend Misery. Enjoy the journey!
