I'm looking for books about women who live alone, ideally in a rural area. I'm not super picky but don't enjoy excessive violence. Okay with a slower, less intense read. Kind of looking to immerse myself in setting and a character's mind.

Okay, this sounds silly and it’s such an easy read – but I really loved Murder in Postscript. It’s a series, I’ve only read the first one as my TBR is huge so I like to diversify 😂.
It’s just so fun, light hearted, a little cheesy, and a fun mystery.
Misery was the first book that came to mind, but it definitely has violence!
