The only genre I’m not really interested in is a zombie apocalypse, unless there’s something new or unique about it. books with any other kind of monster though, I’m down for. I just finished the Monsterous series by Lily Mayne and though I enjoyed it, I really wanted to know more about the worldbuilding. thank you!

I have just started reading a book called ‘Dating After the End of World’ which is a fun take on the genre so far.
Have you read Disnaeland by DD Johnston? It’s a beautiful book about the end of the world focused on a town in Scotland. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, published by a small indy press. Highly recommended!
Wool by Hugh Howey (the whole series is incredible)
The Stand by Stephen King (unabridged is the way to go)
