I have read a good amt of the recent popular romance books. A lot of of Emily Henry, Abby Jimenez, Ali Hazlewood and some of them are good, but none of them have been GREAT, a lot of them are just okay to me. I want to Feel Something like I did when I used to read Sarah Dessen's books in middle school LOL and I don't want another story about 30-somethings who don't know how to communicate properly. Please do not suggest any Colleen Hoover. I'm open to books that get freaky too! LOL

    1. Jane Eyre is genuinely one of the best romances i’ve read, ever. It’s a classic for a reason, i really recommend it!

Sweep of the Blade by Ilona Andrews

      Lord Perfect by Loretta Chase

Last Night’s Scandal by Loretta Chase

      Slightly Dangerous by Mary Balogh

A Matter of Class by Mary Balogh

A Summer to Remember by Mary Balogh

The Taming of the Duke by Eloisa James

Desperate Duchesses/This Duchess of Mine by Eloisa James (These are part of a series. They both stand alone, but to get the full impact of TDoM, I think you should read DD first so to see the conflict better)
