Hello, I am seeking some book / author recommendations that have been written by those who have a very large emphasis for eloquent language, that is almost poetic or lyrical to read or even just pristine.
I have recently gotten into Vladimir Nabokov and absolutely adore his writing style.
Anything from History, or Fiction of any kind is preferred, but not required. Whether it be historical fiction, or adventure, you name it – as long as the author matches I am more than willing to give it a go.

Try Cormac McCarthy if you haven’t already – his prose has this sparse but haunting quality that feels almost biblical. Toni Morrison is another one where every sentence feels carefully crafted, her language just flows in this really beautiful way
