Hello! I would like to listen to Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander books in May. Could I have some suggestions please? Thanks in advance!
Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zuaner (Japanese Breakfast!) is a great memoir dissecting her relationship with her mother & her Korean heritage largely through the lens of food. Zuaner narrates the audiobook herself & does a fantastic job

Do you have any themes or genres you like? Or else I won’t be able to resist spamming all my favourites 😆

All of these are by Asians, but not necessarily all American authors or set in the US:
– The red palace by June Hur
– Throwback by Maurene Goo
– Chloe and the Kaishao boys by Mae Coyiuto
– Twelfth knight by Alexene Farol Follmuth
– Foul lady fortune by Chloe Gong
– I’ll stop the world by Lauren Thoman
– A touch of blood by Sajni Patel
– The jasmine throne by Tasha Suri
– Much ado about Nada by Uzma Jalaluddin
– Troublemaker by John Cho
– The night eaters by Marjorie M. Liu
– You can’t be serious by Kal Penn
– We were dreamers by Simu Liu
– They called us enemy by George Takei
