I've been exhausted recently and just want something fun and engaging to take my mind off things. However, I get really distracted by things like flat characterization and clumsy prose. I'm super curious about the romance genre, because I love rom coms, but I haven't been able to find anything yet that I've enjoyed.

Rewriting Hearts by Ginette Guy Mayer. Second chance at love with mature characters. It’s part of her Hearts Collection, and I’ve read all of them.
I am reading Legends and Lattes. About an orc warrior who is giving up being a mercenary to start a coffee shop. It is sweet and the stakes are just coffee shop level. I am reading the 3rd book and so far I think it is the best, but I have enjoyed all of them.
