I’m in the middle of book 9 so no spoilers on the ending please lol but I’ve loved the expanse series. I became a big reader in 2026 and the expanse has been my introduction to fiction. Since then I’ve been hooked. I’ve been thinking about what books to read after I finish the series. Maybe a song of ice and fire (game of thrones is my second favorite tv show of all time), maybe the dune books, I’ve seen people rave about red rising on tiktok. What suggestions do you have for what I should read next?

Have you read their new series? The Captives War? I am really enjoying it! It’s a planned trilogy and two books and one novella are already published
Might not fit exactly what you are looking for but the darkest minds series is one of the best series I have ever read fortunately it was one of those books that got a failed movie adaptation but to be honest it probably won’t have made it as a show or a movie too much cruelty for live action
The Red Rising Series is really great. The first book is a little bit different from the rest of the series but also good. Can’t recommend it enough. Atm there a 6 books, but the author is working on the last one. Hope it is coming soon. I am currently reading the sun eater series and this one is also really great. Its little bit more philosophical than red.
