Suggestions for Alaska cruise reading

I’m looking to download some interesting but not too heavy reading to keep me occupied during flights and downtime. We’re traveling with extended family to cruise out of Vancouver to Seward, so anything Alaska related would be great.

I’ve read all the standard Jack London books many times. I enjoy historical fiction, mysteries, humor, short stories, and adventure. My attention span is not what it used to be, and I tend to hover around about the complexity of YA.
