Hello! I am looking for a recommendation. I was a paranormal/supernatural book that made me uneasy; my heart beat fast, and I didn’t feel safe while reading it. I want something that will not let me put the book down. Something that makes a pit in my stomach while reading it. I love folklore and paranormal/supernatural stuff. I don’t want just a slasher horror book. I want something pure supernatural horror. If they have an audiobook that would be preferred. I appreciate all the suggestions! Thank you!

Try Mexican Gothic – that book had me checking locks at 2am 😂 The atmosphere is so thick you can practically taste the dread, and the folklore elements are chef’s kiss 💀
