I'm doing a reading challenge and am really struggling to find a book written/translated into English that is set in France by a French author. Something that is widely available in the US/on Libby. I would love to find some contemporary fiction. I enjoy things that are dark and emotional or strange and artistic.

The End of Eddy by Edouard Louis is great! You would also probably love works by Annie Ernaux, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature.
