I don't wanna read the Jungle Book cause it's too childish for me and my age… but I am a big jungle nerd and I love jungles and I am in the mood to read something with a jungle as the setting. So if any one knows a pretty good story that's set in a jungle I'd love to hear it.
Also if it's romance I only like gay stuff… just letting that know

Heart of Darkness is classic but pretty heavy stuff. For something more adventure-y you might like some of those old exploration novels set in Amazon or Congo – they usually have good jungle atmosphere even if writing style feels bit dated now.
The gay romance part is trickier since most jungle books are older and dont really have that, but maybe check some newer adventure romance authors who write LGBTQ characters in exotic settings
