i read spellbound scones and the spell shop and loved them, tried to get into ya fantasy which is my baseline and read heavenly bodies and the gild and hated it. so maybe rewinding and go cozy witchy adventure vibes? not opposed to acotar and things like that

You might like the witchy slice-of-life stuff better than the heavy fantasy drama. I got burned out on YA fantasy after few bad picks too, but cozy witch books are totally different vibe – more about the atmosphere and daily magic instead of chosen one nonsense. Maybe try some urban fantasy with witch protagonists, they usually have that cottage core feel without being too intense
