Basically what I want is a book similar to "s.e.x. the all you need to know sexuality guide to get you through your teens and twenties" but for the romantic side of things. I don't really know how to meet people besides on dating apps (which have not been working out and are eroding my self esteem) and I want to know what is expected, and appropriate for finding people as an adult. I want to know how you meet new people, how you can introduce yourself to people you are interested in but dont know (just in general because I also want to make and don't know how to do that when it like everyone is preoccupied with the people they came with), how I can gauge who might be attracted to me, how to deal with rejection, how to deal with image issues and self confidence, how to ask people out, probably a bunch more things too. And Im not really interested in a book where it just seems to be some random ass guy saying shit, I want it to be useful and evidence based if it can be.
