i love the cosmere and sanderson books but ive recently been reading first law and greenbone saga and i love that type of maturity and well planned out plots and characters in writing. any suggestions? something with a good magic system, story, complex characters and a high fantasy setting. ive tried ASOIF and WOT so somethinh other than that please

Highly reccomend the Burning Kingdoms trilogy by Tasha Suri, great cast of characters and fantastic magic system/world building.
Malazan book of the fallen would be what you’re looking for , though the magic system is purposefully mysterious . You’ll either love the series or hate it .
Coldfire Trilogy
Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn by Tad Williams.
Ignore the summaries and stuff. It sounded boring as hell to me right up until I finally tried it. Just hang in there through the first part of the first book and you’ll be hooked.
