I love books with magic, fantasy, thrill, adventure, etc. The Cradle series is one of my favorites, and I also love books by M.L.Wang. But I really also want a strong romance subplot which I've never found in the 20-ish fantasy/magic books I've read.
Would love your suggestions please. No YA stuff, or non-human characters. Thank you in advance!

The Priory of Orange Tree has this amazing dragon magic world building and political intrigue, but also some really well developed romantic relationships that weave through story naturally. Not main focus but definitely strong enough to keep you invested
Also maybe try some urban fantasy – those tend to have good balance between magical elements and romance subplots without making romance the entire point of book
