My close friend’s birthday is coming up in the next couple of months, and I thought I’d gift her a book. She doesn’t tend to read but when she used to she’d be into sad YA fiction… each to their own!
I was going to gift her an annotated copy of The Bell Jar, it felt like the obvious, more sophisticated choice of what I know she is partial to.
BUT I just don’t know 🫠
I was wondering if anybody knew of any books that would make a pleasant gift… to sort of say “I appreciate you” in a way that’s not too obvious or feels too cringe. Something that I could write a nice note in the front to say this reminds me of you and I.
