Hello! I just started reading and I don’t have the money or time to experiment with random books, so If anyone has recommendations to these demanding requests I’d appreciate it greatly.
Please excuse me for any poor grammar or if I broke the rules.

To start: my favorite genre is fantasy, followed by mystery and thriller. I love angst and found family, Detective/investigation stories.

    Preferably No
1- No romance. The LESS romance there is, the better. Unless it’s very well past established.
2- No psychological books where the story is only the characters reflecting.
3- No book where EVERY background character dies just so the protagonist’s character can progress, or as empty ‘emotional depth’.
    4- No she breasted boobily.
5- I know this is such a ‘controversial’ ask, but please no zionist, racist, homophobic, or transphobic authors.

Preferences. (These all don’t HAVE to be included in the books, just things that makes it better.)
1- The more fantasy elements there is, the better. Like more magic systems or mythical creatures.
2- action/thriller/mystery or angsty/emotional tropes or storylines are a bonus.
3- 3rd person narratives, unlimited or limited omniscient point of view.

    Okays.
1- Okay with stand-alone books and series, completed or not.
2- Okay with different tones/moods, leaning towards serious and complex.
3- Okay with classic and modern works.

To compare: these are shows/games I love: Avatar the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Castlevania (2017 & 2023), Mouse (2021), Moon Knight (2022), Expedition 33, Alan Wake 2, Undertale.
