    Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some book recommendations, but I’ve been having a really hard time finding something that actually hits the right tone. I absolutely loved The Deal by Elle Kennedy, but I found the rest of the series slightly off

I am strictly looking for books with a college settinge (YA) that feature either:

    1. True Enemies-to-Lovers / Rivals: Where they genuinely dislike or compete with each other at first, which builds into intense yearning, and finally love.

    2. Intense Jealously: High emotional stakes and heavy tension.

    The Ideal Male Lead:

I really want a male lead with a flirty, charming, and naturally warm personality. Think of Garrett Graham from The Deal, someone who is effortlessly charismatic and knows how to banter, but still feels genuinely warm, protective, and caring underneath.

What I absolutely HATE (Please do NOT recommend if the book has these):

    1. Childish "Bro" Humor: I don't want to read about college-aged men or athletes acting like hyperactive toddlers in the locker room or acting completely immature. I want competent, smart, and witty characters.

    2. The "Not Like Other Girls" Trope: I cannot stand a female main character whose entire personality is trying to act quirky, clumsy, or superior to other women. (For context, I totally hated The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams for this exact reason).

    3. Low-Effort Writing: I'm looking for books with good character depth and actual friction, not just cheap tropes or cozy/sweet fluff.

Give me your best well-written, high-tension college romances with a great flirty, warm hero that actually hold up

It's been like 2 months since I have picked a book, I want a good one to start again

    Thanks !!
