bruh the obsidian and blood series by aliette de bodard is exactly what you looking for 🔥 it’s fantasy mystery set in aztec tenochtitlan and the worldbuilding is incredible, plus she actually did her research on the mythology. there’s also some good graphic novels but can’t remember names right now 💀
