I'm a 22 year old man who's just getting back into the habit of reading, I love it. I am very eager to learn about religion, human history, philosophy and art. I like the Taschen monographs for artists I like but in the other departments of human history and philosophy I am at a loss. I would prefer something humorous that's also emotionally honest, I think humor keeps me engaged but I don't want it to stray too much from the deep truths of the human condition. That said I am very open to trying new things, so hit me with anything you've enjoyed that's somewhat informative. Thank you!!

(Some suggestions from my friends were "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac and "Infinite Jest" by David Foster Wallace)
