A friend suggested I read Foundation after loving Project Hail Mary. I’m 30% in and I’m finding it incredibly boring and feel lost with all the names. Should I finish it or call it quits?
Any other recs would be great. I’ve looked through other posts about what to read after PHM and will definitely read Martian next. I’m a new reader, sadly.
How much do you know about what happens in PHM? If you know nothing besides what has already happened at 30% in, KEEP READING. If you’re still not into it by 50% then you can call it quits.

Foundation was pretty cerebral.
Larry Niven, Roger Zelazny, Poul Anderson and Robert Heinlein each carved out memorable places in science fiction, and they’re much easier to follow and enjoy.
