I'm not sure what tag to use, I'm looking for stories about nature and the relationship with mankind. If you have read the manga "children of the sea", or almost any of Igarashi Daisuke's works, you'll understand exactly what I mean.
if you don't care about that manga i can explain it more but there are spoilers:
A huge part of the story is about how different cultures and their myths about the creation of man and the world converge into one event that each people have interpreted differently, or each myth talks about one part of that event, and over the years as the people became more modernized, this connection with the natural event that creates life has gone weaker, but the truth lies in the traditions of people that live in remote places and their passed-down knowledge.
I'm more into fiction than stories that are too realistic, this kind of thing could work as a fantasy, post-apocalyptic, magical realism, dystopia, or even horror, and probably more. Honestly if someone can just find me a name for this kind of genre it would be a huge help lol.
