Okay so i read and sobbed and absolutely loved "The Song of Achilles". It has become my 2nd comfort book now, first being "The Kite Runner".
Also i read a lot of romance novels too.
Recently read "Twisted Hate" and the smut scenes are too much and i'm getting bored. The story lacks emotional depth. I enjoyed some parts of the book ngl except the intimate scenes but overall it's just boring me atp.
I'm craving more emotional depth kind of stories. like Patroculus and Achilles shared. something meaningful. something deep. So drop similar suggestions please.

Have you read Circe? Its written by the same author as Song of Achilles and its basically a retelling of Circe’s story (from the greek myths)
I read it and really enjoyed it, and I’m not too much of a romance reader normally
