I'm in my late 30s, but my comfort books include a lot of childhood favourites: The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien, Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery, Beauty and also Chalice by Robin McKinley, Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine.
More recent are The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells (I love MB's interactions with its favourite humans).
What are yours? Any reading level, any genre, any topic. The important thing is that they bring you comfort.
