I recently bought Sheridan Le Fanu’s collection of stories “In a glass darkly”: it contains all the tales of Dr Hesselius, the last of which is “Carmilla”. “Carmilla” is the story i’m most interested in so i wanted to start with that, but i am not sure if the stories are connected, and therefore should be read in order. Does anyone know?
Also i would love to read more classics about vampires. So far i’ve only read Dracula and loved it, does anyone have other similar recommendations?
