I have a book club and we are choosing our next book. We want to start a series. We have enjoyed things like:
First time caller – B.K Borison
Girl Dinner – Olivie Blake
The Last Letter – Rebecca Yarros
While not enjoying:
Deaths Obsession – Avina St. Graves
And we read Every Summer After – Carley Fortune, which was okay.
We are open to Fantasy. On my own I have enjoyed these series: Throne of Glass, Bridge Kingdom, Quicksilver, The Knight and The Moth, A Dawn of Onyx , The Bridgerton Series and Under the Whispering Door.
Most of the members would prefer contemporary (no hockey tropes, ideally FMC is in her 30's or late 20's), but are up to light fantasy. I think something like One Dark Window might be a fun one to try out.
