Im ok with sad (like All The Light We Cannot See or Poisonwood Bible) but I'm really struggling finding something with a romance (that isn't tawdry or standard tropes) that engages me, and is uplifting. For reference I loved All The Light We Cannot See, Atonement, Poisonwood Bible. Currently reading Theo of Golden and Lessons but not super interested. Help please
