I loved the slow pacing build up of the fantasy world of those books! I also just love those marriage of convenience turned into love match, weak heroine slowly gaining her confidence tropes. I especially love a good fantasy book set in a regency time period.
Edited to add that I would prefer it to be less spicy, but I dont mind the spice if it is a rich and well written story that isnt there to service its spice, you know?
