I’m recovering from eye surgery and audiobooks are my only approved source of entertainment for the next 2 weeks. I haven’t read for fun in many. I enjoy reading about historical non/fiction, feminism, travel, culture, psychology.

    1. *The Warmth of Other Suns, The The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration* by Isabel Wilkerson. It’s about the movement of African-Americans from the Southeast to other parts of the US.

    2. David McCullough has a whole series of really great historical non-fiction. It’s an eclectic mix, too, not just presidents or whatever.

I’m absolutely loving the Nora Beady audiobooks at the moment. Historical fiction about a woman trying to become a doctor in 19th century London. The second and third books focus a lot on women’s care and midwives. The first one is The Girl in His Shadow.
