I've read a few books set around universities like Babel, Heart the Lover, The Secret History, The Savage Detectives. I realized they're all about people majoring in English or Humanities. I appreciate the humanities and I get that's probably what the authors are more familiar with but it's also so far from anything I relate to.
Are there any fiction books where the main character is, idk a civil engineering major? Or a graduate student in economics, or electrical engineering, or even pre-med? just not the same English/Languages/Art/History. I'm just curious if this exists, but appreciate any recs!
