I'm a big fan of Lovecraftian horror, cult related stuff, and a specific type of horror. The specific type is anything having to do with weird creatures/monsters coming along and ruining the lives of humans worldwide (yes, I like Vita Carnis, why do you ask?). Idk my book taste (and media taste in general is very limited, lol. Please help, I'm trying to read more instead of doomscroll.

The Mist by Stephen King
As someone with weirdly specific interests, I feel your pain.
I don’t know if this fits because I don’t really read horror, but I think it’s a good story.
Someone You Can Build A Nest In by John Wiswell. It is told from the monster’s point of view.
The threshold series deals with this though it leans more adventure than horror
The southern reach series is a slow burn cosmic / environmental horror that’s amazing
Bloody shores and other nautical nightmares by Thomas Stewart (short stories)
The fisherman by John Langan
Have you read any Clive Barker? Anything he wrote would probably scratch at least two of those at any given time. Maybe not all three, and not always the same two, but always at least two.
You might like The Starving Saints by Caitlin Starling.
The Laundry Files by Charles Stross. First book is Atrocity Archive,
Agents of Dreamland by Caitlin R. Kiernan.
Maplecroft by Cherie M. Priest
Seal Team 666 by Weston Ochse.
Check out Bent Heavens by Daniel Kraus. Very unnerving and tragic.
All the Fiends of Hell, by Adam Nevill. The creatures are pretty unique.
You might try Kate Morton’s books.
