Hello! I am looking for a really weird or unsettling book. My top tier favorite book is The Hike by Drew Magary. I have yet to find a book that even comes close. I want something twisted and weird and has you questioning everything (please don’t recommend the house of leaves. I tried it and it wasn’t for me, lol). I’m into very psychological horror books as well. Thanks in advance!!😊

I suggest Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. It’s about a family of carnie freaks who were deliberately created with deformities by their father, who dosed the mom with drugs while she was pregnant. Totally weird and engaging.
