I would like my kid to learn about the different religions of the world. Not just learning about holidays/traditions like “Jewish people eat latkes on Hanukkah” but also the moral teachings of those religions.
What I’d like is to find a book that teaches about multiple different religions to show that there isn’t one “true” way of understanding the world, while still imparting moral lessons and wisdom (love thy neighbor, Golden Rule, etc.) I would love it if it included quotes from different texts like the Bible, the Koran, Buddhist sutras and secular humanist sources.
The book can be for any age/reading level. My kid is a baby now but I’m thinking about books I want to read to him in the future.
