I recently read The Art of Starving, and I felt so seen while reading it. I had such an emotional reaction that I actually started crying. I was hoping to find another book that deals with a queer person experiencing internalized homophobia or a queer person struggling with an eating disorder. I’m not picky. 🙂 Moreover, I’m open to any books that dive into the psychology of lesbianism or the history of it? Thank you!!

*Nothing Tastes as Good* by Luke Dumas is a horror novel about a obese gay man who goes on an experimental weight loss trial and starts to crave human meat. It’s not that graphic, most of the violence happens off screen. But I felt like the author really captured the push/pull of both wanting to lose weight and wanting to love yourself how you are.
