I’m finally getting around to reading Turtles all the way Down and so far I like it. But, there is one thing that is glaringly obvious. I’ll give John Green ^some grace for never having been one, but it’s pretty clear that he has no idea how teenage girls speak to each other. What do you mean they don’t affectionately call each other slut/hoe, are Aza and Daisy even real friends? Without the insincere insults, it’s hard to tell. Where is all the complaining and smartass-ing? And let me tell you, at that age, teen girls mouths are absolutely filthy!
