hi, I’m rly new to reading romance books, but I need a recommendation that has yearning (idrc on which side) and hopefully has like a period drama feel. I recently watched the other Bennet sister, currently reading pride and prejudice, and I live for books that emulate those vibes if yknow what I mean. Heres a list of what I’m looking for besides the things already listed too:
– It doesn’t have to be a straight romance, lgbt romance is good too!
– a good romance subplot is appreciated fs!
– I don’t care much for age ratings, I just don’t want straight up freaky scenes in everything
– good banter between characters would be great!
– I’m also very new to classic literature: I’ve rly only read “bad books” or fanfiction, which sucks, but I want to try new things!
– I’m not the biggest fan of fantasy, but I did love the cruel prince
overall, any good book recs would be appreciated, as I’m getting back into reading after a while. Thank you so much!
