My friend told me that, since becoming a father this year, his reading tastes have shifted. He re-read Harry Potter for the first time and is now reading what he described to me as, I think, a YA fantasy series about a lost Atlantean kingdom or something.
I know that he has also read Lord of the Rings of late, which I realise is not YA, but I’m not really too familiar with this genre at all. Can anyone recommend a book or series that is maybe less wildly popular that I can get him as a gift?
