Please suggest me books that are short. For a tired but want to read mom.

I would love to get back into reading but find it hard to finish any book in a reasonable time frame. I’d like to blame it on my rambunctious two toddlers but perhaps I’m not disciplined enough to finish a book. I’d like to borrow from the library and don’t want to hold up a book for weeks on end, and keep having to renew.

Please suggest something compelling that’s short. I like Non fiction or fiction, topics on parenting, murder mystery, whodunit, thrillers. Not so much fantasy, sci fi and romance.
