I just finished the epic, centuries-long journey into the woods of New England. It was especially cool to read it as a New England resident from my house very much in the woods. (No pumas, though, as far as I know…)
And the…uhh “romantic” section with the bugs was one of the most original chapters I’ve ever read. I told my husband that I was reading a book with a very detailed description of bug sex.
