I’m currently reading 28 Summers and it feels like every social interaction requires alcohol. And sometimes the main character will just drink a bottle of wine alone. Is this normal American behavior that no one else even notices?
And maybe I’m missing something but is there a LOT of adultery in her novels? (Especially by characters who are supposed to be the heroes or heroines.)
Again, is this normal American behavior and everyone else can relate to/identify with this?
